Our Story

The Family Resource Center of Iowa County was created to support families at every stage of life. We started with a vision of a community where every parent, caregiver, and child has access to the resources, programs, and connections they need to thrive.

Through partnerships with local schools, libraries, health providers, and community organizations, we offer inclusive programming, events, and supportive services designed to strengthen families, build resilience, and foster lasting connections. Our story is one of collaboration, care, and a commitment to helping families grow stronger together.

Why We Do This

We believe strong families are the foundation of a healthy community. When families have access to welcoming spaces, trusted relationships, and timely supports, challenges can be addressed early and strengths can grow.

Guided by the Family Resource Center of Quality framework, our work is prevention-focused and family-driven. We partner with parents and caregivers, honor their leadership, and respond to the unique needs of Iowa County families through inclusive programming and community collaboration.

Your support helps ensure families can access programs, resources, and connections that promote resilience, reduce barriers, and create lasting positive outcomes for children and caregivers—today and for generations to come.
