Our Work
The Family Resource Center of Iowa County is deeply involved in our community, creating opportunities for families to connect, learn, and thrive. Current initiatives include funding the Back-to-School Bonanza, expanding family programs, and building a Parent Advisory Committee. We also host community events such as raffles, the Community Baby Shower, Car Seat Safety events, and Family Fun Month, bringing families together while providing resources and support.

01
Grand Opening
We have recently relocated to a more centralized and accessible space on Merriman & Main. We have also secured funding to build a space that is supportive of and responsive to the needs of our families and community.
02
Expand Programming
We have listened to our families and looked at the gaps in services for families in the community. We are committed to expanding our accessibility to support the growth of children - and parents - in Iowa County.

03
Annual Baby Shower
This is our celebration for growing families.
Expectant moms and moms of newborns are invited to come pick up a Welcome-Baby bag filled with baby essentials and enter to win bigger items
such as a stroller, high chair, or pack-n-play!
04
Back-to-School Bonanza
Take some of the stress out of going back to school and get into the spirit with community and pre-packed school supply hauls for all of your littles! In an event that is supported by Upland Hills, the United Fund of Iowa County, Lands End, and so many more local businesses - join us for all of the fun!
